Project Circuit Breaker

Snack-n-Hack 2024

Come hang out with Project Circuit Breaker, enjoy socializing with fellow hackers, and try your skills at hacking in our latest pilot program as we trial some upcoming changes to the Intel(R) Bug Bounty Program. Bounties will be available for any eligible reports submitted on in-scope assets during each of the four (4) scope phases. Targets will change every 12 hours. The fun starts at noon on Friday August 9 and ends at noon Sunday August 11.

Must be 21 to enter. 

This is a hacking and socializing event. It is not going to be a typical “live hacking event”; we will not have onsite or real-time triage support. This event is not meant to compete with the big LHEs in town, it is meant to be an add-on for hackers who want another special thing to hack on, or as a first-time entry to an LHE.

Personal Release

Scope – New

  • Will be released on site only and will change throughout the event.
  • Will be well-defined (i.e. it will NOT be “*.intel.com”).
  • Targets will be web application assets that have never been included in BBP/VDP scope before.
  • Infrastructure will be out of scope.

Bounties – Yes

  • No dupe window.
  • Bounties will purely be first-come first-served.
  • We encourage you to collaborate.
  • Hackers must be present for their submissions to be eligible for bounties.
  • If not present at time of submission, reputation will be awarded but no bounty.

Location – Hilton Elara

  • Space will be very limited.
  • When capacity is reached, we will have a strict one-in-one-out rule.
  • RSVP does not guarantee entrance, but is required for eligibility.

  • All submissions must come through the Intigriti platform.
  • Accounts must be ID Verified before August 1st to ensure eligibility.

Additional Notes

  • All participants will be responsible for their own travel arrangements. Intel is not providing any participation sponsorship for this event.
  • Participation in this event is entirely voluntary
  • This event is restricted to persons 21 and older as of August 6, 2024. Official identification with date of birth will be checked prior to entry. Participants without sufficient proof of age will be denied entry.
